The Story Behind Lupita Nyong’o’s Oscar Red-Carpet Look

Lupita Nyong'o's now-famous Oscar dress -- adorned in pearls -- was stolen right out of her hotel room. The dress was taken out of Lupita's room at The London West Hollywood. 

The dress is made of pearls ... 6,000 white Akoya pearls. It's valued at 150,000 dollars.

             

The Brand New Nike Sportswear Women’s City Collection

     

NIKE decided to create a brand new urban collection inspired on the biggest fashion cities in the world, London, Milan, New York, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo. These new models bring individual colors in three different prints and each one of them selected the two most iconic flowers from two specific places.

The pink model inspired by New York joins the famous Parisian lilies, while the version of Paris is decorated with pastel colors.

London and Tokyo - cities represented respectively by roses and cherry blossoms - create among themselves a dynamic design.

The lilies Milan and Shanghai plum flowers create a delicate balance between them, through shades of bronze and saturated red.

Nike Sportswear Women’s City Collection will be available worldwide on March 8.
