I just saw this amazing movie with Russell
Crowe and it’s definitely a must-see
movie.
The strength of a man who tries to find
his three sons in a foreign country is remarkable.
After his wife’s death he travels to
Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli, it was an unsuccessful attempt by the Allied Powers to
control the sea route from Europe to Russia during World War I, but you
are asking why Australian guys were in that battle?
The campaign began with
a failed naval attack by British and French ships on the Dardanelles Straits in
February-March 1915 and continued with a major land invasion of the Gallipoli
Peninsula on April 25, involving British and French troops as well as divisions
of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC).
Connors' sons were at
the ANZAC division and now he tries to find them to bring them home like he had
promised to his wife.
The Water Diviner is rated with a 7.3/10
at The IMDB.
